Planning sheets, one per unit. And how the referral works.

Everything a framer, fabricator, cabinet maker, plumber, electrician or gas fitter needs to plan a Dimplex Optimyst water-vapour unit into a job: opening or framing, air, water, power, clearances, accessories, and the figures we still have to confirm on site, marked as such instead of guessed. Every number is Dimplex's; the manual link is on each sheet. Read it once and you can draw the job without calling us.

Sheets

Web page and one-page PDF, each.

The counter sheet for the cassette carries the full cutout drawing; the others are the manual's tables in one place with the unknowns called out.

  • Optimyst RGB Cassette in a counter: the Islandfire rough-in sheetCutout, sills, connections, air, water, power, clearances, with the plan drawing
  • Optimyst RGB Cassette (20 in) in a counter, console or runCDFI500-PRO-RGB
  • Optimyst Linear 46 / 66 / 86 in a framed wallOLF46-AM, OLF66-AM, OLF86-AM
  • Optimyst RGB Pro Box 40 / 60 (2026 CBX) in a framed wallCBX1000-AM, CBX1500-AM
  • Optimyst e-MatriX 35 in, four configurationsFEF3226L1, FEF3226L2L, FEF3226L2R, FEF3226L3
  • Optimyst Aura in a half wall or feature wall3STEP-RGB-AM
  • Optimyst Revive in an existing fireplace openingABN15-RGB-AM
  • Optimyst Mapleton stove (freestanding)MPT-LS-AM

These sheets are planning aids, not permit drawings; the current Dimplex manual governs and is linked on each. Where the 2026 Pro Box or an e-MatriX corner or bay drawing is not yet on file, the sheet says so and we confirm with Dimplex before framing.

How the referral works

You keep the wall, the counter, the millwork. We do the fire.

Framers, fabricators, cabinet shops, kitchen designers, basement developers, builders and gas fitters already touch every opening this could go into. The arrangement is simple.

You bring the job

Send the customer to us with your name on it, or ask us to join a site visit. We check depth, air, water, power and drafts and give the customer a fixed price for the fire package. The wall, counter or cabinet stays yours to quote.

We supply and commission

We supply the unit at Dimplex's list price and the water hardware, check your framing or cutout against the manual before it closes up, coordinate the plumber and electrician if you don't have your own, then set, connect, prime, pair and hand over a running unit with the owner walked through the clean.

You keep your work, plus a fee

On each completed install that came through you, we pay a referral fee, agreed in writing before your first job. No exclusivity, no minimums.

What to expect

What we need from you, and what you get.

  • From youThe unit or the situation, a plan or elevation if there is one, the depth available, where the panel and the nearest cold line are, and the finish. A phone photo is enough to start.
  • Before framingThe framing table for the exact model, the air-inlet area and where it can go, the water route and shutoff location, the circuit spec, and a check of your drawing against the manual, in writing.
  • DuringA framing check before drywall or before the counter is set; the unit delivered when the opening is ready, not before.
  • AfterThe unit set, connected, primed and paired; the owner walked through; Dimplex's warranty registered; a card left with the clean and the shutoffs on it.
  • Not from usWe don't quote or build the parts that are yours unless the customer asks us to. Your price stays your price.
