Which unit
Seven formats, thirteen models, one flame. This is every Optimyst unit on Dimplex's Canadian list at June 2026 prices, with what it needs and where we put it. Where a figure says "confirm", Dimplex has not printed it in a document we hold, and we confirm it at the site visit rather than guess.

Depth needed is the framed cavity or counter depth the manual asks for, not the unit's own depth. Fresh air is the minimum inlet area with an open path to the unit's underside; a grille needs a larger opening to compensate. Heat means a fan heater you can run or leave off; every unit has a flame-only mode. Prices are Dimplex's MSRP in CAD from the June 2026 list; Dimplex sets its minimum advertised price equal to MSRP on Optimyst, so the number is the same at every dealer. Model numbers are as printed on the price list; the Aura is sold as 28 in and 30 in in different Dimplex documents (same unit).

Yes: Linear (240 V for full output; the 86 in gives no heat on 120 V), Aura (1,275 W), Revive (1,250 W), Mapleton (1,150 W), Pro Box (fan heater per Dimplex; rating confirmed on the 2026 box).
No, flame only: the 20 in cassette (230 W) and the e-MatriX (270 W).
Refill drawer or tank, no plumber: Revive, Aura, Mapleton; the Linear, Pro Box and cassette also run from a reservoir or container.
Plumbed to a cold line, never filled: e-MatriX always; Linear, Pro Box and cassette with Dimplex's plumb kit. Plumbed is what we do in counters and walls.
An existing opening at least 25-1/4 × 25 × 12 in: Revive.
About 12 in: Linear (46, 66, 86).
About 16 in: Aura (15-15/16), Pro Box (16-1/4 overall; framing to confirm).
About 21 in: e-MatriX.
A counter or a piece of furniture: the cassette.
No wall work at all: Mapleton, or a console.

What Dimplex sells alongside the units, from the same June 2026 list. The ember bed on a cassette, Linear or Pro Box is not included with the unit; you choose it.
